Uninterruptible Power Supply
An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is an electrical device that provides emergency backup power when the main power source fails. Unlike a generator, which may take several seconds to kick in, a UPS power supply kicks in immediately---within milliseconds---ensuring that connected devices continue to operate without interruption.

UPS with Modular design and hot swappable.
Double DSP controller for individual power module.
Strong load adaptability for linear and nonlinear load.
Large touch screen LCD with plenty of information.
IGBT modules rather than discrete components are applied in the power module.
Intelligent module and system protection design.
Independent charger for batteries, intelligent battery management system.
Totally front access, top and bottom cable connection.
Inbuilt power distribution for input and output connection.
Incredible low noise system design.
Digital paralleling technology, very low circle current between modules.
Digital control for the whole parts including rectifier, inverter, charger and discharger.
Each individual module is configured with independent controller, avoid single point failure risk.

Key Advantages of Uninterruptible Power Supply
Reliable Backup Power
UPS provides immediate backup power during outages or power interruptions, preventing sudden device shutdowns that could cause data loss, hardware damage, or business disruptions. For example, medical equipment or data‑center servers gain critical buffer time to ensure operational continuity.
Intelligent Voltage Regulation
Equipped with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) technology, UPS stabilizes mains voltage in real time. When input voltage fluctuates (too high or low), the system automatically adjusts output to a safe range, protecting devices from voltage spikes and extending their service life.
Power Conditioning & Anti-Interference
UPS filters out power pollution such as harmonics, voltage spikes, and surges from the mains, delivering clean power to devices. This feature significantly reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI), enhances operational stability, and lowers failure rates.
Smart Monitoring & Remote Management
Modern UPS systems typically feature digital monitoring platforms, supporting real-time tracking of key parameters (battery level, output voltage/current, etc.) and remote management via networks. This allows users to promptly assess UPS status, enable fault warnings, and schedule maintenance.
There are three primary types of uninterruptible power systems
Offline (Standby) UPS
Best for home computers and small office equipment. It switches to battery power only when the main power fails.
Line-Interactive UPS
Suitable for small to medium businesses. It offers voltage regulation and better protection against power surges and brownouts.
Online (Double Conversion) UPS
The most advanced form, used for critical applications like data centres and hospitals. It continuously supplies power from its battery, offering the highest level of protection.
Key Components of Uninterruptible Power Supply
There are various types of UPSs, but all of them include the following components:
Rectifier
Input alternating current (AC) power is converted by the rectifier into direct current (DC) power, which is used to feed the energy storage system.
Energy storage
Incase of input power failure, UPSs have a system for storing energy in the form of batteries, flywheels, or supercapacitors. The energy storage system is what allows a UPS to supply uninterrupted power.
Inverter
The converts DC power from the rectifier or energy storage system into AC power that is used by the load.
