A large number of applications and equipment once considered "industrial" require three-phase power. The general use of three-phase equipment is increasing on farms and ranches, in home wood and metal shops, or in other locations where utility-provided 3-phase isn't readily available. Even when 3-phase is available nearby, the costs of bringing in new service, adding additional transformers and wire are unaffordable. So what is the alternative solution to this problem?
The answer is using a static phase converter. It is a device that produces three-phase electrical power from a single-phase source, allowing the operation of three-phase equipment at a site that only has single-phase electrical service. Using the latest state-of-the-art technology and newest trends in the power electronics field and digital control, Noyark digital phase converter offers the best solution for phase conversion.

Buying Guides
Where the load type is inductive in nature, such as motors (fans, pumps, etc), solenoids, and relays, it is essential that high inrush current and short-time overload factors are fully considered
With motors (without a soft start facility) typically drawing on start-up current 5 to 7 times the stated rating of the motor.
A digital phase converter is NOT a rotary phase converter.
Calculate the kVA Rating. 3-phase kVA calculation: voltage x amperage x 1.732 / 1,000; 1-phase kVA calculation: voltage x amperage / 1,000.
Determine the Input (primary) and Output (secondary) Voltage. Input voltage is the voltage of the source electricity that needs to be changed, output voltage is the voltage being supplied by the solid state phase converter.
Choose the Right Phase Number. 1-phase power is found in homes and small buildings, while 3-phase power is found in larger commercial and industrial settings.
Determine the Input (primary) and Output (secondary) Frequency. Input frequency is the frequency of the source electricity that needs to be changed, output frequency is the frequency being supplied by the phase converter.
Identify the Load Type. Inductive or resistive, direct start or soft start, what is the maximum starting current, etc.
Choose Suitable Protection Degree. IP20, IP44, IP54, Containerized.
Identify Installation Conditions. It is necessary to know: indoor or outdoor installation; installation site altitude and climatic characteristics; ambient temperature.
