Buying Guides
Calculate the kVA Rating. Evaluate the power consumption of the equipment or machine you will connect to the automatic voltage stabilizer. 3-phase kVA calculation: voltage x amperage x 1.732 / 1,000; 1-phase kVA calculation: voltage x amperage / 1,000. It is advisable to choose a servo controlled voltage stabilizer with 25–30% additional capacity to handle extra load in the future.
Determine the Input (primary) and Output (secondary) Voltage. Input voltage is the voltage of the source electricity that needs to be regulated, output voltage is the voltage being supplied by the servo voltage stabilizer. Note that every different machine and appliance requires a specific voltage, Noyark servo controlled stabilizers ensure the incoming power supply is regulated and provides the precise output voltage you need.
Choose the Right Phase Number. 1-phase power is found in homes and small buildings, while 3-phase power is found in larger commercial and industrial settings.
Evaluate Input Voltage Range. Voltage fluctuations differ depending on geographical location and power supply quality. You need to identify: the lowest voltage your area experiences and the highest voltage recorded.
Check Neutral Line Availability. Wye (Star) or Delta connection. In star connection, there is four wire, three wires are phase wire and fourth is neutral which is taken from the star point. In delta connection, there is three wires alone and no neutral terminal is taken.
Choose Suitable Protection Degree. IP20, IP44 and above.
Identify Installation Conditions. It is necessary to know: indoor or outdoor installation; installation site altitude and climatic characteristics; ambient temperature.
